Men’s Shirt “Knyaz”
Modern Ukrainian vyshyvanka with a meaningful embroidery depicting Tryzub (Ukrainian code of arms) from the times of Kyivan Rus, specifically during the times of Volodymyr the Great Prince of Kyiv and his son Yaroslav the Wise.
From top down, Tryzub #1, #2 and #4 were used by Volodymyr the Grest on coins and state flags. Brick with the same tryzub as #4 was found in 1908 in the ruins of Tithe Church in Kyiv. Others were found on old coins and state documents
Tryzub #3- this one was used by Volodymyr’s son- Yaroslav the Wise (Yaroslav Mudryi) in the year of 980.
40% linen; 30% cotton; 30% viscose
